Pro League calls on clubs to wear rainbow bands

The Pro League asks its Challenger Pro League clubs to wear rainbow armbands next weekend following the controversial ban on the Qatar World Cup.

Our football is for everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or race. On a football pitch, all barriers fall away. Unlike FIFA, we want to carry that message with our clubs in unison. That is why we ask the Challenger Pro League captains to wear the rainbow armband this coming weekend on matchday 15.

Throughout the season, the Pro League takes several initiatives and organises several projects against inequality, against homophobia and transphobia, against racism. The most important are our partnership with Kazerne Dossin and our annual 'Football for All' campaign.
