The General Meeting of the Pro League consists of its members, i.e. the 26 professional football clubs in Belgium.
The General Meeting has a number of legal powers, including amending the articles of association, appointing the directors, approving the annual accounts, etc. In addition, the General Meeting also has the exclusive power to reach a number of far-reaching decisions, such as the choice of the competition format.
Within this General Meeting, the five clubs that achieved the highest coefficient over the past five seasons have three votes each. The other clubs of the Jupiler Pro League have two votes. The clubs in 1B have one vote.
