Cup winners KAA Gent at Standard de Liège on Friday 22 July, while champions Club Bruges start at home against KRC Genk as the 2022-2023 Jupiler Pro League fixtures have been released.

Only 30 more days until the ball rolls again on the Belgian football fields. At Sclessin, it are Standard de Liège and KAA Gent that do the honeurs to kick off the new season. Club Bruges starts its title defence at home with a challenging opening game against KRC Genk - the 2018-2019 champions. After five seasons of absence, newcomer KVC Westerlo opens their season in ‘Het Kuipje’ against Cercle Bruges.

Here are the fixtures for Matchday 1-6:

After the seventeenth matchday (weekend of 11 to 13 November), we press pause for a while. The Jupiler Pro League has to make way for the World Cup in Qatar, where some of our players will undoubtedly defend the honour of their country. We resume at the end of December with Christmas football between 23 and 27 December. The regular competition phase ends after 34 matchdays during the weekend of 21 April 2023.

One week later,  the first Matchday of the Champions' and Europe Play-offs is (already??) scheduled. By 4 June 2023 - the sixth and final matchday of the play-offs - the champion will be known. Please mark Monday 24 April 2023 in your agenda, because then the Pro League announces the play-offs fixtures.

More information about the competition formula can be found on this page.
