Pro League extends partnership with groundsmen partner TORO
Pro League is delighted to announce its extended partnership with groundsmen partner TORO today. TORO will continue to link its name to the official groundsmen ranking of the Pro League. Pro League also strengthens its cooperation with TORO to further support the clubs in the maintenance of the fields.
TORO is the global leader in turf and landscape maintenance. As a leading, worldwide provider – since 1914 - of innovative equipment for turf and landscape maintenance, TORO helps customers care for football fields, other sports field and public green spaces.
Jonas Meulebrouck, of Reesink Turfcare, Belgian distributor of TORO, explains the reasoning behind the contract extension with the Pro League: “The same passion you see uniting teams and fans, is the passion that brings together turf professionals and TORO. We want to work together with the Pro League to offer the clubs the necessary knowledge and expertise. Through our national and international experience, we can offer the clubs additional learning opportunities.”
TORO and the Pro League will organise different activities that have the sharing of expertise and experience at its core.
TORO will also continue to link its name to the official groundsmen ranking of the Pro League. That ranking honours the people that take care of the most important fields in our game, day and night, often in the shadows.
The winner of the “Groundman of the Year”-trophy is offered a visit to Real Madrid where a meet and greet is held with the Madrilenian groudsman and his team.
